Pineapple Dance Studios founder Debbie Moore brought a touch of glamour to Rochester Cathedral when she was presented an honorary degree.
The former model turned entrepreneur was commended for her contribution to the fashion industry by the University for the Creative Arts.
She was joined by colourful fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, the UCA chancellor, at a graduation ceremony on Wednesday.
Debbie was joined by students from the UCA's Rochester campus when she picked up a Master of Arts.
The 64-year-old said: "I am so honoured and overwhelmed to be receiving this honorary degree from UCA - it's a truly magical occasion for me.
"When your career is recognised with awards like this, it makes you want to do even more good work, which is something that I have learned.
"I hope that I can be an inspiration to the students graduating from UCA and I hope they realise how fortunate they are to receive such a great start to their careers with a degree from such an excellent institution that is focused on the creative industries - I wish I could have come here."
Debbie, who was made an OBE last year, hit our screens last year when Pineapple Dance Studios was featured in a popular fly-on-the-wall TV documentary.
