A woman has reported being raped in a field near a popular attraction.

The incident is said to have happened in a field near Great Lines at around 6pm on June 7.

Earlier in the afternoon the victim and suspect had met in a pub in Chatham High Street before walking together along Institute Road Hill.

The suspect has been described as being white and around 5ft 10ins tall with dark brown hair and black stubble.

At the time he was wearing a white t-shirt, light coloured three quarter length shorts and white converse trainers.

He was also wearing sunglasses.
