Police have released a computer generated image of a man they would like to speak with after a teenager with special needs was robbed of his bike.
Officers say a teenage boy was cycling in Chatham Hill - between 10.40pm and 10.58pm on Thursday November 16 - when he was approached by two men between Rock Avenue and a path leading to Imperial Road.
The men are both described as being white, in their 20s, around 5ft 8ins tall and slim. At the time they were wearing black coats with the hoods up and one of these two men was also reported to have a ginger beard.
As they approached the boy they are reported to have told him to stop before one struck him in the face and stole his bike.
Officers have conducted numerous enquiries and are now in a position to release an image of one of the suspects.
The release of the image comes after the victim's mother appealed for information last week.
Sabrina Clarke spoke out on Friday after her son Cameron, who has special needs, was attacked and robbed.
The 17-year-old, who had been making his way home to Rainham from his grandmother’s house in Strood, was left covered in blood.
A passing delivery driver came to help him as he sat slumped on the ground. Cameron suffered a black eye and a cut to his face.
His mum said the attack, on Thursday, November 16, has left him scared to go out.
Ms Clarke said: "One of them was holding a bottle in his hand. He told Cameron he would bottle him if he didn’t give him his bike. They repeatedly punched him in the face.
"The bike was specially made for him by a member of our family. It is a silver grey Carrera Vengeance mountain bike with stickers on the frame.
"Because he has special needs Cameron doesn’t like using public transport, that bike is his lifeline."
Anyone who recognises the man in the image, or who may have information on the incident, is asked to call Kent Police on 01634 792209 quoting XY/60361/17.
