Police investigating a burglary in Chattenden have arrested a 25-year-old man.

Kent Police were contacted at 2.50pm today following reports of a burglary on Lodge Hill Lane.

The police helicopter was scrambled at 3.15pm to assist officers in searching for the suspect.

The young man from Chattenden is currently in police custody

In January three houses were broken into on nearby Elmwood Road, Chattenden, with neighbours reporting a car parked off Lodge Hill Lane.
