Police were called to a medical incident near a bridge this morning.

Officers attended the scene on the A2 at the junction with Canal Road in Strood, just before 9am.

The entrance to Canal Road, near Rochester Bridge, was coned off and paramedics were also in attendance.

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
