Drivers are being asked to check their dashcams following a suspicious incident that led to concerns about a woman’s welfare.
Police have appealed to motorists who travelled along Butler’s Park Way in Strood between 9pm on Thursday, December 7 and midday on Friday, December 8 to send in footage.
It follows an incident on the Medway Gate estate in which two men and a woman were involved in an altercation at around 10.15pm on Thursday, December 7.
Residents allege the woman may have been assaulted, before all three got in a car and it drove off.
Detective Inspector Beverley Morrison said: “We are investigating this report as there is a concern for the welfare of the woman who appeared upset.
“We are keeping an open mind as to what happened and are keen to speak to motorists with dashcam, including residents and delivery drivers, as the footage they have may contain vital information.”
