A pig proved every bit the swine after police were called to round up the escapee and get him back in his pen.
In a scene sounding like something out of Hot Fuzz officers were called to give chase to the barnyard beast in Rainham earlier today.
The large black pig had been reported running loose in the fields after seemingly managing to escape.
Medway's local policing teams were then called to round up the troublesome hog.
Following his successful recapture they tweeted: "Officers from Medway LPT and the Town Centre Team caught this run away today in #Rainham.
"He wouldn't 'squeal' on who'd let him out, and was dis'grunt'led to be detained, however there was no need to 'ham'cuff him."
It amused local residents who took to social media to share their thoughts on the hog's hold-up.
One said: "I saw the police officers in the field on my run and wondered what they were up to. Now I know!"
Another added: "The kind of news content I want to be seeing on my feed."
Police say enquiries to trace his owner are ongoing.
