A major tunnel was shut due to a police incident.

The Medway Tunnel linking Chatham and Strood was closed eastbound.

There are reports of slow traffic from Anthony's Way at the Upnor Roundabout until Maritime Way, at the University of Kent.

An eyewitness said that police and fire services were all seen at the scene.
