Police are searching for two men after a woman was injured in a suspected stabbing.
Officers were called out to Hempstead Road in Hempstead at just gone 11am today amid reports a woman had been injured.
A search was launched for two men, one of whom was believed to have been hurt.
Ambulance and air ambulance crews attended the scene to help with the woman's injuries.
Meanwhile, Lester Road in Chatham was taped off, as police believe the area might be connected with the incident.
People living on the road reported seeing blood on the tarmac.
One resident who lives there said: "I came home and the road had been taped off. There was a lot of blood on the road."
Officers have recovered a knife from Hempstead Road and are making further enquiries.
They are also trying to trace the two men.
