A police search unit is trawling a river in an attempt to find a missing man.
The unit is parked at Medway Rowing Club in the Esplanade, Rochester.
There are a few officers in a dinghy who are searching the river and round boats moored in Castle View Moorings, Strood.
This comes after police were called to the M2 bridge, Rochester at 11.20pm on Wednesday to search for a distressed man.
The police helicopter was spotted hovering over the River Medway, in the early hours of yesterday and through to the morning to continue the search.
