Police clamp down on anti-social behaviour in Medway after bike seized

A motorcycle has been seized and warnings issued as police brace themselves for a rise in anti-social behaviour.

Neighbourhood officers from Medway found a rider causing a nuisance in Strood yesterday.

Patrols spotted the off-road scrambler being driven dangerously and illegally in Station Road.

It was later seized from an address in Woodlands Road, Gillingham, as part of an investigation into a rider failing to stop and having no insurance.

Inquiries to identify the rider are ongoing.

Patrols in the county are attempting to crack down on similar activity, as part of Kent Police’s Safer Summer campaign.

They say the warmer weather and lighter evenings are likely to lead to more instances of anti-social behaviour.

You should include a detailed description of the bike, its rider, the direction of travel, the time of the incident, and whether it is a repeat occurrence.
