Kent Police will be placing more dispersal zones in Medway this weekend to clamp down on anti-social behaviour and nuisance vehicles.
The order was put in place ill at 6pm and will cover Medway City Estate, areas around the Hoo Peninsula, and the Tesco Extra in Gillingham.
Officers will be authorised to stop anyone involved in anti-social behaviour and move them on from the area.
Should officers come across anyone believed to be causing an offence, they can take reasonable action which includes seizing vehicles or issuing Community Protection warnings.
Sergeant Steve Holpin from the Medway Community Safety Unit said: "Just last week, there were more than 50 cars in attendance at a gathering in Tesco’s car park.
"These actions are having a big impact on the community and we will not allow it to continue. Those who persistently cause a nuisance risk having their vehicles seized.
"As always, we will work with our partners and local businesses to share information to find a solution."
Anybody who wishes to report instances of antisocial behaviour should call 101 or report it online via the Kent Police website.
