Police used a stinger to stop a car after the driver failed to stop when asked to, but they also caught their own police car.
The driver of a BMW continued driving after being indicated to stop by police, who were on patrol in Maidstone Road, Chatham, at 9.30pm on Wednesday, July 31.
Police deployed a stinger which was used to deflate the tyres.
Unfortunately, the stinger also caught one of the police's own vehicles.
They arrested a 28-year-old man from Gravesend on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop when directed to do so by a police officer, driving whilst unfit through alcohol or drugs and possession of class A drugs.
As of Friday (August 2), the man has been released under investigation.
