A new Poundland is set to open in a Kent town.
Signs advertising the bargain store's arrival at Rainham Shopping Centre, off the high street, appeared today.
There were also signs on the same windows advertising Pep&Co, which is the clothing brand sold at the stores.
This comes after the budget chain advertised jobs in the area, listing an assistant store manager on job search website indeed.com
But bosses previously refused to confirm whether or not they would be opening a store in Rainham.
Currently the closest is Gillingham Retail Park.
The unit was previously an Iceland store and has been vacant since earlier this year.
Poundland has been contacted for further information and an opening date.
The bargain retailer is currently recruiting for 1,000 seasonal jobs across the country.
It has also announced it will be closing over Boxing Day and New Year's Day for the third successive year, as a thank you to staff.
