A sell-out show by top comedian Lee Mack tonight, Sunday, has been cancelled because of a power cut.
The Not Going Out star was due to perform at the Central Theatre, Chatham for one night as part of his nationwide tour.
All the tickets for the show had been sold even before the Spring 2010 programme had been distributed.
A Medway Council spokesman said the cancellation was due to a "major power failure" at the High Street Theatre.
“We apologise to all our customers and would ask people who have bought a ticket not to turn up to the theatre tonight," he said.
“We will contact everyone over the course of the next week to let them know if we have been successful in re-booking Lee for a later date."
