More than 98% of children in Medway who will be starting primary school in September have been offered a place at one of their preferred schools.
Every child in Medway who had their application returned on time secured a place, with 3,413 children being offered places.
The school admissions team at Medway Council processes applications for 3,525 children, including 112 from the outside the Medway area.
In total, 98.5% of families used Medway Council's online application process to submit their preferences.
Ian Sutherland, Medway Council’s director of children and adult services, said: "It is great news that more than 98% of children have been allocated a place at one of their preferred schools.
"This is a very exciting time for families and going to primary school is a very important step for children as they start their education.
"We want all of our children in Medway to enjoy school, learn well, and reach their full potential."

Kent County Council revealed earlier that more than 97% of children in Kent will start at a primary school this year named on their parents' application and 89% at their first choice.
