A "prolific" crack cocaine dealer who peddled his wares in Medway is beginning a three year and one month prison term.

Jack Aylesbury, 28, of no fixed address, was charged with possession with intent to supply after a property in Kings Hill, near West Malling, was raided in April.

Police found 23.6g of crack cocaine worth between £2,300 and £4,600 inside a coat pocket along with torn plastic bags and digital scales.

Aylesbury was arrested along with a 20-year-old man and 30-year-old woman who both remain under investigation.

Aylesbury’s fingerprints were on the packaging of the drugs.

Investigating officer Det Con Mark Donovan said: "Aylesbury was a prolific drug dealer and used sophisticated ways of contacting local drug users in order to financially benefit from their vulnerability.

"I’m pleased he has been jailed and removed from the streets."
