A prolific shoplifter is behind bars again after admitting stealing hundreds of pounds of goods from shops across the county.
Kellie Hiscock, 38, pleaded guilty to six counts of shoplifting when she appeared before Medway magistrates.
Hiscock, of Bligh Way, Strood, who has a history drug abuse and has been in and out of prison for years, had previously been banned from all but two shops in the county.
During her latest appearance, the court heard she stole alcohol, medicine and air fresheners from the Co-op store on Medway City Estate, Strood, £35 of electric toothbrushes and medicine from a shop in Cranbrook and meat and alcohol worth £115 from a supermarket in Kings Hill.
On other occasions she stole razor blades, meat, cosmetics and other items from shops in Longfield, Kings Hill, and Tonbridge.
Magistrates jailed Hiscock for 150 days and ordered her to pay £511 compensation and costs.
