Pupils aimed high as basketball returned to the Medway Mini-Youth Games for the first time in six years.
Nearly 250 children took part in the tournament at Medway Park with Balfour Juniors, Chatham, taking the title.
It was a tight contest for second place with three schools losing only one match each but Elaine Primary eventually finished runners-up on shot difference.
Third was Fairview Primary, Wigmore, with St Mary’s Island Primary fourth.
The fair play award was won by Allhallows Primary.
We've got a full report and pictures of all the teams in tomorrow's Medway Messenger.
