Dave Fulton, Neil McFarlane, Paul McMullan and Herman the genial German are the combined comic force set to provide a laughter-packed show at Rochester’s Billabong Comedy Club tonight.
With his long hair, beard and leather jacket, Fulton is described as “more like a refugee from a British heavy metal band than an all-American stand-up”, but the US comedian has an impressive CV and appeared on numerous TV shows, including Live at the Apollo.
Scottish comedian and actor McFarlane has claimed numerous comedy awards, including Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2006, while McMullan – newly back from his Edinburgh Fringe show Alcopop – is described as a “natural storyteller who will take you back to embarrassing events you would rather forget”.
Influenced by American comedian Jerry Lewis, Herman the genial German is planning his debut show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in February 2017 and will provide support to the main acts.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with the comedy starting at 8pm. Hadlow band The Crew will perform an acoustic set during the intervals.
