They've Rocked All Over the World and they certainly rocked Rochester Castle Gardens on Wednesday night.
Status Quo kicked off the concert series in style when they performed their classic hits in front of more than 4,000 fans.
Many people who took their picnics and folding chairs couldn’t stay seated for long as the band delivered their set.
The Quo, returning to the castle for a third time, have been making music for decades and their appeal has not faded.
Brief showers did not dampen the crowd’s mood. Headbangers young and old packed the castle gardens, moving to the rhythm of the group’s chart hits.
The ageing rockers showed they have lost none of their magic and wooed their fans for more than an hour and a half, without a break. Four or five fans, some dressed in their Status Quo gear, arrived at the Castle Gardens as early as 7.45am.
Tonight it's the turn of Will Young, whose gig sold out in hours when tickets went on sale with The Saturdays and Diversity on Friday and the Castle Proms on Saturday.
Did you see Status Quo? Are you going to see the other concerts? If so, we would love to know what you thought of the concert.
