The cast of Dick Whittington and His Cat toured the Town’s as the pantomime launched for 2018.
Ray Quinn will be making his Medway debut and starring in the show as Dick Whittington at Chatham Central Theatre this Christmas.
The Xfactor star said:”I’ve not been to this theatre before so it’s exciting to come to a different place and I’m working with one of my best pals, Joe Tracini who plays Idle Jack.”
The show also stars Dame Sarah the Cook, who will be on the hunt for single men in the audience, saxophone playing Fairy Bo-Bells and evil King Rat.
During their Medway tour the cast took pictures on Rochester Bridge, strolled down Gillingham High Street, took a trip to the Pentagon Shopping Centre on Thursday September, 6. In the afternoon they performed an exclusive sneak preview on HMS Gannet in the Historic Dockyard.
Dick Whittington and his Cat will feature sing-along songs, lots of dancing and be will be on from Friday, December 7 to Monday, December 31.
Any 8-17 year olds who want to be on stage with the star studded cast can audition at the The Brook Theatre, Chatham Saturday 8 September at The Brook Theatre, Chatham at 10am.
It's an open audition, children will have to learn a dance routine to impress the choreographer.
