If your bin-man fails to show this weekend don't despair - it's just May bank holiday time again.

As usual all normal waste and recycling collections over the holiday period will be pushed forward by one day.

Waste and recycling rounds which would on any other week take place on Monday, May 26 will take place the next day instead.

The same will happen for collections through to and including Friday, May 30.

Medway’s three household waste and recycling centres will be open from 9am to 4pm on both May Bank Holidays.
