Missing Liam Graham: Police renew appeal for missing man from Lower Stoke

Police officers are continuing to search for a 22-year-old more than a month after he went missing.

Since then, specialist officers have been using drones, helicopters, the dog unit, and the search and marine unit as they up their attempts to find him.

His sister, Holly Graham, said her “family is broken” as the search to find her brother continues.

Speaking previously to KentOnline, she said Liam is a “family-oriented person” and it is unusual he has not contacted any family members.

She added: “We just want to know where he is. He would never want us to worry like this as he is a loving and emotional person.”

A Facebook group has also been set up to help find Liam and now has more than 5,000 members who are arranging search parties and putting up posters across the Medway Towns.

Investigating officers are now renewing their appeal for new information, sightings, or people to come forward with any details they have not previously shared.

District commander for Medway and chief inspector, Trevor Jenner, said: “Kent Police continues to deploy officers daily in efforts to locate Liam and a dedicated family liaison officer is regularly in contact with his family.

“Since Liam’s disappearance, we have carried out extensive enquiries including a thorough review of CCTV, area searches, and house-to-house enquiries.

“Specialist officers have undertaken searches in numerous locations, assisted by drones, police helicopters, the dog unit, and the search and marine unit.

“Volunteers from the local community have also assisted in the search for Liam and I would like to thank them for their efforts.

“We still have not located him and are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. We continue to request public support in locating Liam.”

His family has also issued the following message: “If anyone has any information, no matter how small, pass it on to the police, as any lead will help.

“We are finding it very difficult, as every day without Liam is getting harder and harder. We just want to see your smile again, Liam.”

Liam is described as being white and of a medium build, with short hair and a short beard. He was last seen wearing dark shorts and a dark, long-sleeved top.

Anyone with information is asked to call the force on 999 quoting reference 23-0247.
