A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after three people were injured in a crash in Gravesend last night.

Police confirmed two cars collided in Denton Court Road at around 7.08pm.

The casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance and the road was closed for more than four hours while the vehicles were recovered from the scene.

It re-opened at 11.52pm.

A police spokesman said: "A 24-year-old man was arrested at the scene for dangerous driving and is currently in custody."
