A road was closed earlier following a crash between two cars.

Emergency services blocked New Road, Rochester, at the junction with Gundulph Road after the incident at around 9am.

Motorists faced delays as police dealt with the aftermath of the crash.

Spokesman Jo Pattison said: "Officers attended the scene where the road was temporarily blocked while the vehicles were recovered. There were no reported injuries."

The road reopened at around 11am.

Earlier this morning a motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision in nearby City Way, Rochester.
