The air ambulance has attended a serious crash which left a cyclist pinned underneath a car.
The emergency services attended the accident shortly before 3pm on the A228 Grain Road on the Hoo Peninsula.
Kent Fire and Rescue said they were called to assist at the incident where a cyclist was pinned under a car.
A spokesman said: "Crews stabilised the vehicle and used winches to lift the car enough for the casualty to be rescued.
"The casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service."
The road was blocked both ways between The Street and High Street in Stoke.
Eye witnesses said they saw the air ambulance land at the scene.
Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
