A road sweeper driver had to be rescued from a water-filled ditch after an accident which closed a main road in Lower Stoke.
Police were called to Grain Road at 9am and the driver was rescued using ladders.
Cuckolds Green Road was closed in both directions until just after noon while the vehicle was recovered.

The road sweeper was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
Firefighters used two 7m ladders as a bridge to reach the man and free him from the cab of the lorry.
He was then treated by ambulance crews for shock.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called to Grain Road at 9am following a report of a road traffic collision.
“It is reported that a road sweeper was the only vehicle involved in the incident.
“SECAMB were called to treat the driver who was said to be in shock. Kent Fire and Rescue Service assisted in removing the driver from the cab of the vehicle.
“Recovery is being arranged for the vehicle.”
