Part of a busy commuter route is set to be closed again for roadworks.
Improvements to the A228 Four Elms Hill, by the junction of Beacon Hill Lane in Chattenden, will take place next week.
It is due to start on Monday and take around three days.
The scheduled roadworks will be completing the raised table near the junction of Beacon Hill Lane, as well as footway surfacing around the crossing points.
Medway Council says the improvements had to be scheduled separately from the previous ones as they require a specialist sub-contractor.
At the beginning of August, part of the main road was closed to allow for the widening of an existing shared footway and cycle path.
However, the work was for an extra two weeks, resulting in the council issuing an apology to motorists.
The three-day closure will be in place from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
One lane on Four Elms Hill, heading towards Strood from the Hoo Peninsula, will be shut on the approach to Beacon Hill Lane.
An existing footpath will be closed on either side of the junction and a temporary pedestrian walkway will be provided to maintain access.
Beacon Hill Lane will also be closed during the set hours to allow the work to be undertaken safely.
Medway Council have issued letters to people living in the area and businesses about the works.
