Part of the M2 will be partially closed every night this week for roadworks.

Three lanes of the M2 will be shut on the coastbound carriageway between Junction 2 for Strood and Junction 3 for Chatham and Maidstone.

It is because resurfacing work will be taking place.

Lanes 2, 3 and 4 will be closed.

The work starts tonight and will continue for five nights. The lanes will be closed from 8pm to 6am.

On the same five nights, the A2 Londonbound will be completely closed between the Bean B255 junction and the Darenth A282 junction between 10pm and 6am.

There will be a signed diversion route via the B255, A206 and A282.
