The rousing sound of Rule Britannia will ring out in Rochester at the Castle Proms.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will once again be providing the grand finale to Rochester's Castle Concerts this summer.
In keeping with tradition, the Proms will bring the four-night concert series to a close on Saturday, July 17.
This annual event brings audiences from far afield to enjoy picnics, champagne, fireworks, water fountains and classical music.
The Castle Gardens will become a sea of Union Flags as the musicians keep the crowds entertained with a variety of rousing music, no doubt featuring all the usual favourites.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has toured extensively, including Scandinavia, Russia, Estonia, the USA, Spain, Turkey and Monaco.
Performances include concerts with Jose Carreras, Liza Minnelli and the OperaBabes, as well as UK tours with Russell Watson and Lesley Garrett and 32 sell-out shows with Sir Cliff Richard.
The orchestra has also worked with stars such as Andrea Bocelli, Lesley Garrett, George Benson, Henry Mancini, Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder and Luciano Pavarotti and regularly appears on the BBC television appeal Children in Need.
