A Rochester mum will be enjoying her five minutes of fame when she will be seen by more than six million viewers during one of the nation’s favourite TV soaps.

Mum-of-four, Angela Dent features as part of tombola.co.uk’s new sponsorship of ITV’s Emmerdale.

The 41-year-old freelance hairdresser joined more than 100 tombola.co.uk players for filming in London earlier this month, after the online bingo site appealed for players to get involved.

Each individual will be seen for a few seconds, either at the start of the show or at the start or end of the break.

Angela said: “I applied because I thought it would be a really good day out, but I never expected to be selected. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed the whole day. Everyone there treated us really well and all the players there had loads of fun.”

It’s not the first time Angela has been on TV. She appeared on The Weakest Link four years ago, getting down to the final three.
