The Invicta Dynamos powered to an astonishing 24-2 victory at the Slough ENL Jets on Saturday - the biggest win by any team in the ENIHL South Division 1 this season.
Man-of-the-match Ryan Ellis, pictured, led the way with eight goals against a shortbenched and largely inexperienced Slough side.
Dynamos were 6-0 up at the end of the first frame thanks to goals from Justin Noble (4), including a hat-trick in two minutes 53 seconds, and Andy Smith (2).
In the second period the pace of scoring slowed for the visitors but two strikes from Ellis, either side of a Daniel Fudger drive, took their lead to 9-0 before the ENL Jets finally mustered a reply through Nathan Darmanin. Dynamos, however, soon struck again when Ellis completed his hat-trick to make it 10-1.
In the final frame Canadian Ellis took his tally to four before Stuart Mogg scored the Jets' second goal. But from that point the game turned into a rout with Invicta crashing in 13 goals without reply.
Ellis continued to be the star performer as he claimed four more goals with the others coming Justin Noble (3), Corey Watkins (2), Callum Best, Tim Smith, Nicky Lewis and Fudger.
