Invicta Dynamos' post-season player of the year Ryan Giles has left the club.

Defenceman Giles is one of three players who it has been announced will not be part of the Dynamos roster for the 2009/10 season.

He is joined in leaving the Ice Bowl by defenceman of the year Adam Copland and forward Phil Manny, who is returning home and will again link up with Cardiff.

Giles (pictured right) played more than 100 games in three seasons icing for the Dynamos and told their website he had "loved" his time at the club.

He said: "I’ve been lucky enough to have had a fantastic chance to play with some very good players, in a good league and for my home team.

"Over the last three years I have developed and learned huge amounts in my time here from Kev (coach Kevin Parrish) and some of the more experienced guys.

"Now I want to try and play at the highest level I can and hopefully this move will make me develop further."

The Dynamos are in discussions with players they would like to bring to the club, including several British defencemen.

They have already agreed terms with a Canadian forward who is moving to England to further his studies. They have yet to reveal the identity of the player, but hope he will play a key role in their attack for next season.
