Santa’s sleigh will be making its way around Medway before children are tucked up in their beds this Christmas Eve.

The annual fundraisier by the Rotary Club of Gillingham started earlier this month. Every year Father Christmas tours the Towns on his brightly lit up float, bringing delight to youngsters.

Rotary members will be rattling their collection buckets as they go, to raise money for local good causes.

Tonight (Saturday) the sleigh will be in Gillingham going on the following route: Stuart Road, Park Avenue, Seaton Road, Cleave Road, Watling Street, Malvern Road, Steaton Road, Holmside, Seaton Road, Barnsole Road, Third Avenue, Sturdee Avenue, Carlton Avenue, Barnsole Road, Alexandra Avenue, Larkfield Avenue, Barnsole Road, Oxford Road.

The tour is from 6pm to 8.30pm.
