The garage has been bought and renovated by MRH Retail with a £100,000 refit along with its convenience store under the Hursts name.

Area manager Paul Doe has been overseeing work at the site since the station was acquired last year, together with one in Borough Green, where the vouchers can also be spent.

“We’ve spent a lot of money getting the site set up and running,” he said.

“Before it was a very old site, but we’ve now rebranded the site as Hursts – we’ve included some fresh items like doughnuts and an increased grocery line.

It also has a Costa franchise.

To mark the opening the garage is offering readers 5p off a litre when you spend £30 or more.
