The report acknowledged the exceptional standards of teaching and learning.

It found that pupils were making "excellent progress from their various starting points and successfully gain entry to a range of competitively sought senior schools".

It also revealed that pupils have an "extremely strong moral sense and, as a result, their behaviour is excellent."

Principal Emma Steinmann-Gilbert said: "We are all over the moon with the outcome of the inspection and I could not be prouder of the St Andrew's family.

"The staff work tirelessly to ensure that the children receive the very best, well-rounded education and I am delighted that their hard work and commitment has been rewarded.

"I am also particularly pleased that the inspectors recognised the excellent behaviour and enthusiasm of our pupils. They truly are a pleasure to teach."

The positive news comes in conjunction with St Andrew’s being placed 35th in the Sunday Times 2022 Parent Power Top 100 list of Independent Prep Schools.

To mark the achievements, St Andrew’s will be hosting a celebration for pupils and staff in the summer term.
