The search for a man who plunged 100ft from Medway Bridge has ended.

The man was seen jumping into the River Medway from the M2 bridge near Rochester at around 4.30pm on Monday, sparking a huge search and rescue operation.

Police, firefighters, lifeboat crews and the coastguard helicopter spent hours scouring the river.

Police have now confirmed the man has still not been found, but the search has concluded until new information comes to light.
