Police are appealing for help to trace a missing Medway man.

Richard Raj, 62, who is from Rochester, has not been seen since he went missing from his home in Weatherly Close, on Friday, September 6.

Mr Raj is of Indian origin, about 5ft 10ins tall and has a slim build. He walks with a severe stoop, wears glasses and has grey/black hair.

Mr Raj is well known in both Chatham and Rochester and often wears a long green coat and a woollen hat, although it is not known what he was last seen wearing.

Insp Richard Cherry, said: “We are concerned about Mr Raj’s welfare as his disappearance is out of character and he suffers from some health issues.

“I would ask anybody who has seen him recently to get in touch as soon as possible.”
