A large fire has broken out on the Medway City Estate in Strood.
Fire services are on the scene of the blaze, which is understood to have started a short time ago.
Smoke rising from the flames can be seen for miles in the surrounding area.
Strood resident Sammie Carter said: "I didn’t see much but I looked out my window about 20 minutes ago and saw plumes of smoke coming from somewhere that seemed to be Medway City Estate.
"Then I heard lots of sirens which I presume to be fire engines".
The exact location of the fire on the estate is not yet known.
This is the second blaze to have occurred on the estate in a matter of days, after a plastic recyling centre was scorched by flames on Wednesday.
The blaze happened on the first floor of the Viridor building in Clipper Close at around 2am.
Ten fire engines were called to scene including a height vehicle, while firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used main jets to tackle the fire, which was extinguished just after 4am.
Kent Fire and Rescue have been contacted for comment.
