Chatham Hill is closed this morning after a house fire overnight which left several people injured.

Police are treating the blaze as suspicious.

Kent Fire and Rescue were called at 2.30am - the police and ambulance service were also called to the scene.

A number of casualties were taken to hospital and neighbouring properties were evacuated. It's thought Chatham Hill will remain closed until tomorrow morning while police carry out investigations.
