Firefighters called to shed fire in Beatty Road, Rochester

A shed has been destroyed after a blaze in Rochester.

Firefighters were called to Beatty Road just after 3.30pm yesterday.

The blaze is thought to have been caused accidentally by an electric oil heater.

Crews reported that the shed was 90% destroyed. The fire also spread to a neighbouring shed which was partially damaged.

Firefighters left the scene at 4.10pm.
