A man has been arrested after several businesses had their windows smashed.
Police received a report that a person had been seen at 12pm on Sunday, January 15 using a metal pole and a brick to target businesses in Gillingham High Street.
He also allegedly went inside one businesses after breaking the window.
Officers responded to the reports and a man matching the description of the suspect was arrested near the scene.
A 44-year-old man from Gillingham, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and affray.
He has since been bailed until Saturday, April 15 pending further inquiries.
