There was fun all round at the opening of the new-look Tesco Extra in Gillingham

Shoppers have bags more choice now the new-look Tesco Extra store has opened in Gillingham.

There were celebrations all round at the official opening on Monday, when charity Home-Start received a £1000 donation from the store.

A visit from Bob the Builder put a smile on the faces of the youngest shoppers, while older customers were spoilt for choice with a cafe, pharmacy, opticians and a better petrol station on offer.

The store has increased in size by 50 per cent, with extra parking available.
