Firefighters spent almost six hours at a barn fire in Allhallows this afternoon.
Three fire engines were sent to Binney Road at 2.30pm and found 80 tonnes of baled straw were alight.
As well as tackling the blaze, crews also worked hard to protect surrounding buildings.
By about 8.30pm, one fire engine remained at the farm.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the bales were being allowed to burn under controlled conditions.
