A group of young people had to be rescued by a lifeboat after running aground in a small motorised fishing boat.
Six people on board, aged between four and 21, had to be freed by Sheerness inshore lifeboat after getting caught on a disused jetty near Kingsnorth power station, Hoo.
The Medway Coastguard team were called out to the job at 12.15pm on Sunday and called for assistance from the lifeboat as the vessel was too far from shore.
A rope was then attached to the fishing boat and the lifeboat pulled it into deeper waters.
Crews from Medway Coastguard met the six at Gillingham Marina and checked them over for injuries before administering first aid to one of the passengers.
A 21-year-old man had suffered a slight cut to his arm trying to get the boat free.
The emergency services finished dealing with the incident at about 2.15pm.
