Delays have cleared after a crash involving two vehicles on the M2

Motorists travelling along the London-bound carriageway near Chatham faced queues after the incident, which happened just after noon near junction 3.

It is not known at this stage if anyone suffered injuries.

All traffic was briefly stopped at 12.30pm while debris was cleared from the carriageway and the cones were put out.

One lane remained closed until just before 2pm.

Police and ambulance crews attended.
