Pride in Medway 2022 has unveiled the official sponsors for next year’s awards and celebrations.
The annual awards scheme, which honours Medway's community and charity heroes, will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, and nominations opened in October.
A roster of Kent businesses has signed up as sponsors, with anticipation building for in-person celebrations following the virtual ceremony in 2021.
The sponsors for 2022 include AC Goatham & Son, Uniper, Medway Council, Medway Messenger, MidKent College, mhs homes, Dockside Property Services, and Bridgewood Manor.
Simon Cook, Principal of long-standing sponsor and venue provider MidKent College said “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Pride in Medway awards, especially for their 20th anniversary.
“Celebrating the generous, kind and thoughtful people of Medway is something we love being involved in, and the celebratory evening has always been a great way to tell stories and connect with the community. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the 2022 event.”
Pride in Medway has been organised for the last 20 years by marketing agency Pillory Barn, to recognise the heroes of Medway – from people or businesses going the extra mile for local charities to carers and sports coaches bringing joy to their communities.
Pillory Barn Managing Director, Miranda Chapman shared her excitement for the 20th Anniversary: “Pride in Medway represents the kindness, consideration and the strength of community in Medway. To be able to celebrate it for a 20th year, and this time all together is really exciting, and we look forward to bringing the local heroes and the businesses of Medway together.”
Nominations for award winners can be made in one of the following categories:
