A leisure centre will close all of its pools to customers as heating issues continue.
Medway Park sports centre in Mill Road, Gillingham, will close all swimming pools tomorrow morning.
Today, children were unable to swim at the centre as staff restricted access to its pools because of "cooler than usual" temperatures.
The centre has now confirmed it is in the process of contacting affected customers booked onto swimming lessons and aquatic classes tomorrow morning and a decision about reopening the pools tomorrow afternoon will be made "as soon as possible".
Ongoing gas repairs have meant the centre currently has no hot water for showers and taps, and it is reporting reduced air temperature around the building and poolside.
While the works continue, the gym will remain open and all dry/land activities and classes will continue to run but the showers will remain closed.
The centre also advised customers that the building "will feel cooler than normal".
In a statement, Medway Sport, which runs the centre, apologised for the inconvenience caused, and said: "Unfortunately, Medway Park continues to experience cooler temperatures and a lack of hot water due to a local gas supply issue. We are working with engineers to resolve this as quickly as possible.
"This is affecting the temperature of the swimming pools, showers and the general temperature around the building."
The centre has a 25-metre six-lane swimming pool, a segregated shallow section, a teaching pool and a diving pool.
Last April, Medway Park had to close for an extended period due to heating problems.
"Ongoing technical issues" had affected hot water and heating at the site.
