Firefighters were called to a living room fire in Strood on Monday afternoon.

Two engines, one from Chatham and one from Strood, attended the incident in Vicarage Road.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used thermal imaging equipment to check no one was inside the property.

The incident took 45 minutes to deal with. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
